ROOM BOOKING
Quick guide for users
Booking in just a few steps – only the most important information.
BOOKING: vig1.hu/foglalas1. Log in
For the first time, create your own account using the Registration button. Later, you can log in with your email address and password.
After logging in, you can access the Profile menu next to the calendar.
2. Choose a time and room
You can start the booking in two ways:
- Select the room, then click on an available time slot in the calendar.
- Click on an available time slot, then select the appropriate room from the available rooms.
Important: booked time slots cannot be selected.
Calendar indicators:
- Light blue background indicates opening hours. If you book and pay for a time slot during opening hours, your booking is created immediately. (?) icon indicates a pending booking. This applies to all bookings outside opening hours; our colleagues will decide whether to approve them.
- Lock icon: unpaid booking; it cannot be modified until you settle the payment.
- Colored stripe on the edge of the card: shows which room the booking is for.
3. Fill in the booking details
Enter the required information in the pop-up window.
When selecting the type of event, it is important to know that Víg1 provides artists with discounted room rental compared to the standard price. Within this category, smaller group sessions – such as private lessons and practice sessions – may receive an additional discount. Practice sessions require approval and are intended to support preparation for competitions and lessons with teachers.
4. Recurring booking
If you would like to book multiple sessions, enable recurring booking, then set how long you want the booking to repeat.
The final date you enter means that sessions occurring up to and including that date will be included in the booking.
For example, if the booking repeats every Wednesday, enter the date of the last Wednesday.
After a sufficient number of recurring sessions, a discount may apply, but you do not have to pay for all sessions in advance.
If you are booking only one session, leave it as a one-time booking.
5. Check the price and choose a payment method
Before finalizing the booking, you can see the amount to be paid on the interface.
6. Finalize the booking
Be sure to check the details before finalizing the booking! We cannot accept complaints resulting from incorrectly entered information.
If everything is correct, finalize the booking.
7. Profile
In the Profile menu, you can access your personal information, your virtual wallet, as well as your past and upcoming bookings. From here, you can also send the notification emails to yourself.
8. Modify a booking
Click on your booking. You can directly edit the event name and public information here.
Rescheduling: to another time within 30 days of the original booking date (it cannot extend into the following day).
Changing the room: to another available room.
You will always see the cost of the change before saving. The difference will be deducted from or credited to your virtual credit balance. If you do not have enough credits, you can purchase them immediately.
Important: if your booking has not been paid for (lock icon), it cannot be modified. Settle the payment first under the Information tab.
9. Cancel a booking
If you can no longer attend, cancel your booking as soon as possible. Click on your booking and select the Cancel option. Any credit is always issued as non-refundable credit. However, if the booking has not yet been paid in full, a debt may be credited instead.
| Cancellation before start | Credit |
|---|---|
| 0–24 hours | 0% |
| 24–48 hours | 50% |
| 48–168 hours (2–7 days) | 80% |
| After 168 hours (7 days) | 100% |
Important: cancelling an unpaid booking may also result in a payment obligation; you can read more about this in the cancellation terms.
Important: the calculation is always based on the booking start time. No-show results in 0% credit. Unpaid bookings result in a payment obligation if the refund is not 100%.
